DSP investigating armed robbery in Frankford

FRANKFORD, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a Frankford property Sunday evening.

Police say the incident happened shortly before 8:30 p.m., in the 30000 block of Omar Road. A 38-year-old male victim told police that while he was checking on a pole building on his property, he was approached from behind by two male subjects, one of which placed a sharp object near the victim’s neck and demanded money. The victim was cut by the object while trying to hand over cash.

The suspects fled on foot after receiving an unknown amount of cash. The victim sustained minor injuries and declined treatment. No physical description of the suspects could be provided.
