Dover woman charged in connection to shots fired incident in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – Police say a Dover woman was charged over the weekend in connection to a shots fired incident in Salisbury.

We’re told that Salisbury Police responded to Brew River Restaurant and Bar shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday for a report of shots fired. On arrival, police located 21-year-old Erykah Nikkisha Austin of Dover in the parking lot with a handgun in her possession.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Austin was charged with wear and carry a loaded handgun, transporting loaded handgun, reckless endangerment, and discharging a firearm in city limits.
