Del. state fire officials investigating house fire in Milford

MILFORD, Del. – The Delaware Office of the State Fire Marshal is currently investigating a fire that heavily damaged a Milford home Tuesday morning.

We’re told that firefighters responded to the 200 block of Southeast Second Street shortly before 8 a.m. No one was inside the home before the fire was discovered.

The fire’s origin and cause remain under investigation. No injuries were reported, but two adults and three children have been displaced and are receiving emergency assistance from the American Red Cross.

Fire damage has been estimated at $65,000.
