Criminal investigation launched against Salisbury teacher

WICOMICO CO., Md. – Allegations surfaced on Thursday that an instructor from Bennett High School was placed on administrative leave and could be facing charges.

47 ABC confirmed with Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis that a teacher from James M. Bennett is being criminally investigated. Lewis says there has been an investigation this week and that charges will be coming in the near future.

Officials with the Wicomico County Board of Education say they don’t have anything to report until, or unless, charges are filed against an employee.
