Berlin hosts free holiday carriage rides for community

BERLIN, Md. – Hundreds of people are expected to make their way to Berlin this weekend for the town’s annual holiday carriage rides.

The free carriage rides will take people in and around the town’s Main Street.

Organizers tell us the annual event is a tradition that attracts thousands from all across Delmarva, each year.

They say the event is also a chance to bring more foot traffic to the area.

47ABC caught up with a family in Berlin and they tell us these carriage rides gives them a chance to spend a little extra time with each other during the holiday season.

“It’s just a time for us to all be together and have time together with older kids that are off with their friends doing things and to get away for the weekend and just spend time together, quality time together,” said Amy Miller, a Harford County resident.

If you are interested in hopping on a free carriage ride in Berlin, tomorrow is your last chance. Carriage rides will go on from 11 until 3.
