Barber shop helps Eastern Shore families with free haircuts

POCOMOKE CITY, Md. – With Christmas around the corner, one man and his team brought joy to kids across the Eastern Shore on Monday with free haircuts.

The event took place at the Cut Life Grooming Studio in Pocomoke City.

The owner Terrell Northam, also known as Cut Da Barber, offered free haircuts today for both guys and girls.

Northam says the community supported him when he lost his home to a fire, so this is his way to give back.

“It’s Christmas time, so kind of want to give back a little bit more,” said Northam, “You know what I mean?”

“Because basically the barber shop and the salon is only as good as their community, so if it’s something that we can do to give back, we want to do it,” said Northam.

Northam says he is looking forward to bringing this event to the community, every year.
