Armed robbery under investigation in Milford

MILFORD, Del. – Milford Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened in a liquor store parking lot earlier this week.

According to police, the incident happened in the parking lot of Uptown Liquors in the 200 block of NE Front Street at around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday. It was learned that the victim was walking to their car after leaving the store when a silver sedan with tinted windows pulled up behind the victim’s vehicle, blocking them from leaving. The suspect then reportedly got out of the vehicle and robbed the victim at gunpoint.

The suspect then fled in the vehicle, traveling westbound on NE Front Street. The suspect was described as a male wearing dark colored clothing and a mask.
