Adopt an animal from the zoo this holiday season

SALISBURY, Md. – If you’re looking for the perfect gift to give this holiday season, listen up!

The Salisbury Zoo is reminding everyone of their adopt an animal program ahead of the holidays.

With the program, you can pay money to adopt an animal at the zoo and receive a certificate and photo of that animal.

Zoo officials tell 47 ABC the program is actually available year round, but, of course, it makes a perfect gift for the holiday season.

“It’s a good way to support your free zoo and to give a really unique present for someone that could be an animal lover or just really loves the zoo,” Mary Seemann with the zoo said.
