Clouds will continue to increase as a strong cold front approaches. Temperatures ahead of the front tonight will stay in the 50s.
The cold front slices through Delmarva on Tuesday. Rain showers will move in during the early to mid morning with temperatures in the 50s. By the afternoon, the winds will really pick up and the temperatures will crash into the 30s. Depending on how quickly the cold air moves in behind the precipitation, rain could end as some snow during the afternoon. Little to no snow accumulation is expected. Temperatures Tuesday night will drop into the low to mid 20s.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny and cold. High temperatures will only be in the mid to upper 30s. Thursday will be partly sunny with highs in the upper 40s. Partly sunny skies are expected on Friday with temperatures in the upper 40s to near 50. There may be some showers around depending on the path of our next weather maker.
Temperatures will be in the mid and upper 40s on Saturday under partly sunny skies. Sunday will be in the low 50s with mostly cloudy skies and the chance for a shower.
Showers look to linger into Monday with mostly cloudy skies and milder highs in the upper 50s to near 60.
