Sussex Tech junior wins state-wide competition

DELAWARE – One local high school student recently won a state-wide competition in Delaware.

Julia Buoni of Millsboro was named the national winner of the School Bus Safety Poster contest. The contest theme was “Red Lights Mean STOP”, and officials say Buoni’s entry was the top in her division.

She will also be recognized at a ceremony with the other winners in December.
