SU men and women swept by Marymount in an early season double header

SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury men and women were swept by Marymount tonight.

The Saints were hot from the start, taking the 27-11 lead midway through the second quarter. The Gulls were able to tie it up at 33 to begin the second half but the Saints pulled away late to take it 61-48.

Kaylee Otlowski led the Gulls with 16 points.

 

It was much of the same story for the men in the night cap. The Saints started out hot, leading 40-29 at the half. In the second half, the Gulls would make it a game. Climbing all the way back to cut it to a 64-62 Saint lead, Salisbury couldn’t complete the comeback as they fell to Marymount 73-68.

Devin Garrett led all scorers with a game high 19 points.
