Smyrna Police continuing to investigate after human remains found, facial reconstruction images released

SMYRNA, Del. – Smyrna Police have released facial reconstruction images after remains of an unidentified deceased child were found back in September.

The remains were found on September 13th, near the Little Lass Fields in Kent County. Investigators have learned through further investigation that the child was deceased for several weeks or possibly even longer. It has been determined that the child was a Caucasian or Hispanic female, possibly between 2 and 5 years of age. According to police, it is believed that she may have suffered from chronic illness(es).
