Recall issued for Nestle Ready-To-Bake Cookie Dough due to concerns of possible rubber contamination
WASHINGTON – Nestle has issued a voluntary recall of ready-to-bake refrigerated Nestle Toll House Cookie Dough products, saying they may potentially contain food-grade rubber pieces.
This recall only includes specific batch codes of certain products, including ready-to-bake refrigerated Nestle Toll House Cookie Dough bars, tubs, and tube-shaped “chubs”. Nestle Toll House Morsels, Nestle Toll House Ice Cream Sandwiches, Nestle Toll House Edible Cookie Dough, and Nestle Professional SKUs are not affected by this recall.
The recall is limited to products with batch codes that begin with 9189 through batch codes that begin with 9295. For a full list of products affected by this recall, click here.
This recall was issued out an abundance of caution after the company received reports of food-grade rubber pieces in some of these products. Nestle says they have identified the source of the rubber and have fixed the issue.
No illnesses or injuries have been reported that required medical treatment. Consumers who may have purchased these products are urged to either throw them away or contact Nestle Consumer Services at firstname.lastname@example.org.
