November is Adopt a Senior Pet month

SALISBURY, Md. – If you’re looking to add a furry friend to your family, this may be the month to do it.

November is Adopt a Senior Pet month, and Dr. Marianne Bailey from the Queenstown Veterinary Hospital stopped by to talk about why it’s important to considering bringing an older pet into your family.

Bailey says the Animal Welfare League of Queen Anne’s County will be covering all pet adoptions through Christmas. You should also check your local shelters if you’re interested in adopting a pet.
