Milton man seeks justice for his dad

MILTON, Del. – “I just want to get these guys off the street,” said Randy Orth.

Randy Orth is begging for help after his dad Frank Prekup allegedly woke up to find that three men had broken into his Milton home and barely survived a ferocious beating.

“It’s terrible what happened,” said Prekup.

Delaware State Police say they are still searching for the trio who reportedly ransacked Prekup’s kitchen, stole an unknown amount of cash, his laptop and cell phone last Sunday on Milton Ellendale Highway.

“It’s going to mess with him for a long time as far as getting back to normal and sleeping and having nightmares,” said Orth.

So, Orth concerned about his dad’s safety, set up a GoFundMe page in hopes to raise a 10,000 dollar cash reward and help police catch the trio.

“You know, the people need to be caught and if money is the incentive to get the information that brings them in that’s what gotta happen,” said Orth.

Orth says his dad is battling a major head trauma and broken bones.

It is a devastating situation he says he does not want to see anyone else face.

“Just so he can sleep at night knowing that these guys aren’t out there and it can possibly happen again or anybody else,” said Orth.

Orth adds he hopes to get justice for his dad.

Police say this incident is still under investigation.
