Milton man arrested on burglary, theft charges

SEAFORD, Del. – Seaford Police arrested a Milton man on multiple charges after he was connected to a series of thefts in the area.

According to police, an investigation was launched after it was learned that tools had been stolen from various work trucks and vans in the Lowes parking lot. On Wednesday, detectives saw a man, identified as 38-year-old Kristofer Watson, actively stealing tools from a contractor’s truck.

Watson was subsequently taken into custody and further investigation connected him to four additional thefts that took place in the same parking lot. He was charged with third degree burglary, four counts of theft $1500 or greater, theft under $1500, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was later released on $6,600 unsecured bail.

Police say a large amount of stolen tools were recovered by detectives and are currently being held at the Seaford Police Department. Anyone who may have been a victim of one of these thefts should call 302-629-6648.
