Millsboro man arrested on drug charges
MILLSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Police and Millsboro Police teamed up to conduct a month-long drug investigation that led to the arrest of a Millsboro man on Tuesday.
According to police, it was learned through investigation that 35-year-old Bernardo McKinney was distributing illegal narcotics in the area. A search and seizure warrant was obtained and executed on McKinney’s residence in the Cloverleaf Apartment complex. McKinney’s son was located inside the residence at the time of the search.
The following items were located and seized:
- 186 bags of heroin (approx. 1.302 grams)
- Approx. 14.84 grams of powder cocaine
- Approx. 4.78 grams of marijuana
- More than $1900 in suspected drug
- Drug paraphernalia
He was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a tier 2 quantity, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possesses a controlled substance in a tier 2 quantity, possesses a controlled substance in a tier 1 quantity, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawfully dealing with a child in place where narcotics or dangerous drug activity, and possession of marijuana. He was later released on $39,401 unsecured bond.
