Man arrested after barricading himself into home

LEWES, Del. – A man is in custody after police say he broke into his neighbor’s home and then barricaded himself inside his own home.

It all started just after ten o’clock on Sunday morning when police say 57-year-old Ralph Luce broke into his neighbor’s apartment on Taramino Place and ransacked it.

Police say before they arrived on scene, Luce went back into his own home and then refused to exit.

Members from a Special Operations Response Team were eventually able to get Luce to come out of his home and he was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation.

Police say this investigation remains ongoing and that charges may be coming.
