Late night fire causes $100k in damages at Salisbury auto shop

SALISBURY, Md. – A late night fire at a Salisbury auto shop has been ruled accidental.

According to the Maryland Fire Marshal’s Office, the fire was reported at PNR Auto on Cypress Street shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday. It took firefighters approximately 50 minutes to control the blaze, which has caused an estimated $100,000 in damages.

Investigation revealed that the fire began as a result of unattended soldering equipment.
