Harrington man arrested on multiple charges
HARRINGTON, Del. – Harrington Police arrested a man on multiple charges after responding to a report of suspicious activity.
Officers on patrol responded to a residence in the 500 block of Shaw Avenue for a report of suspicious persons in a vehicle, and on arrival found 27-year-old Christopher Hulstine and an adult female in the vehicle. While speaking with the two occupants, officers witnessed drug paraphernalia fall onto the floor, and a subsequent search of the vehicle led to the recovery of hypodermic needles and several empty heroin baggies, along with other drug paraphernalia. Police say a 4-year-old child was also in the car at the time of the incident.
Hulstine was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia. It was also learned that Hulstine was wanted out of Kent County. He was issued a $1,000 unsecured bond for the new charges and an additional $1,000 secured bond and $600 cash only bond for his two capiases. He was held at SCI.
The female driver was released without being charged.
