Former Kitty’s Flowers employee sentenced for theft

SALISBURY, Md. – A former Kitty’s Flowers employee who pleaded guilty to theft was sentenced on Tuesday.

37-year-old Kimberly Jo Harrison pleaded guilty to theft over $100,000 and was sentenced to 10 years behind bars with all but 18 months suspended. On release, Harrison will be on supervised probation for two years.

Between July 2014 and October 2018, while working as the Sales and Office Manager for Kitty’s Flowers, embezzled more than $180,000 by cancelling transactions within the Kitty’s Flowers point of sale software and stole the corresponding cash from the register.
