Explosive third quarter sends Salisbury to CAC title game

SALISBURY, Md- The top-seeded Salisbury field hockey team advanced to another conference championship game, defeating 4-seed York 3-0 on Wednesday night.

After being scoreless at the half, Salisbury exploded with three goals in a 13 minute span of the third quarter. Meghan Jolikko, Jenna Partilla, and McKenzie Mitchell all registered goals in the third period to give the Gulls the advantage they needed.

The Gulls will go for their 6th CAC championship in 7 years on Saturday, when they host CNU at 2pm at Sea Gull Stadium.
