Drop-in Center needs your help to serve the homeless

GEORGETOWN, Del. – A drop-in center in Georgetown needs your help so they can keep helping the homeless, and it won’t cost you a thing.

Shepherd’s Office is a contestant in a national competition that requires people to vote for them everyday until December 10th.

If they get the most votes, they’ll win $10,000.

Shepherd’s Office founder Jim Martin tells 47 ABC that it only takes a few seconds to vote, it’s free, and it would help the shelter continue to serve the homeless community.

“We would just pay our bills, each month it takes about $3,000 to pay the bills at Shepherd’s Office and we don’t have any regular funding, that money has to come from somewhere,” Martin said.

If you want to vote, you can do so here.
