Caesar Rodney falls to Sallies in state title game, Sals win their tenth straight title

DOVER, Del.- Caesar Rodney Riders boys soccer fell to Salesianum in the state title game 7-0. The Riders finish the season with a 13-3 record and their first state title game appearance since 2014.

It was all Sals from the start. After a few shots on goal were saved by Zander Omans, Sallies would finally break through. Ethan Hinds received the cross into the box and tapped it into the back of the net. From there, it turned into the Andrew Blackwell show. Blackwell would end the half with two great goals, one from thirty yards out into an empty goal and then a goal olympico, a goal from the corner to make it a 3-0 lead at half.

The Sals would continue their dominance in the second half to take it 7-0 for their tenth straight state title.
