Beebe Healthcare and Delaware Tech are partnering for the 2nd annual Veteran’s Resource Event
GEORGETOWN, Del. — This morning, 47 ABC’s Erica Murphy was joined on the desk by Dr. Kim Blanch, who was here to talk about the upcoming Veteran’s Resource Event. And what better way to honor our vets on Veteran’s Day, by mentioning an event, that’s just for them.
Dr. Blanch tells us this is the second year Beebe Healthcare and Delaware Tech have partnered to put on the event.
The event will be on Monday, November 18th from 2 PM to 7 PM.
The event is taking place at the Carter Partnership Center at Delaware Technical Community College, which is located at 21179 College Drive in Georgetown, Delaware.
Dr. Blanch also says, this event is yet another way for Beebe Healthcare to care for our Veterans.
As a partner in the Veterans Choice Program, Beebe specialists and diagnostics are available to Veterans through their VA benefits.
The event will consist of two film showings among many resource offerings for attendees, Experiential offerings, including acupuncture and
mindfulness activities.
Keep in mind this event is for veterans, active duty military, and their families to learn, experience, and connect at a special resource and education event.
Veterans United Outreach of Delaware will be one of many resources available for families.
Gary Kalmus, vice president of the organization, said it is a great event, and they will be bringing over information including state assistance information, mental and physical health issues, and a list of resources that are available to veterans throughout the state.
If you would like to attend, the event is free. For more information about the event or Beebe Healthcare, you can visit their website at www.beebehealthcare.org.
