Vikings start slow, finish fast over Washington

PRINCESS ANNE, Md- The Cambridge South Dorchester Vikings football team earned their 5th straight victory, defeating Washington 55-12 on Friday night.

The Vikings fell behind to the Jags  6-0 early in the first quarter when QB Zavien Hall hit WR Davin Phillips for a 7-yard touchdown. However, that lead would last 25 seconds, when Cambridge’s Khalik Beasley took the ensuing handoff 63-yards to even the game, and eventually take the lead off the extra point. From there, the Vikings would get numerous scores before the half from Camren Lake (2), Logan Middleton, and Timothy Johnson.

CSD (5-1) moves to take on Kent County next week, while Washington (0-6)

will host Snow Hill.
