Two Dover homes hit by gunfire, police say

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police say that two homes were hit by gunfire during the early morning hours on Saturday.

We’re told the incident happened shortly before 4 a.m., in the 100 block of Cherry Street. On arrival, officers learned that two homes were struck by gunfire. The homes were occupied at the time of the incident, but no one was injured.

Police also say it is believed that approximately five shots were fired.
