Summer Cruisin’ organizers not worried about H2Oi threats

OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Endless Summer Cruisin’ event is in full swing in Ocean City, but with many H2Oi drivers threatening to return this weekend, the entire town is on high alert. Despite what happened a couple of weekends back, event organizers say they have not seen a decrease in people coming out to see all of the hot rods, customs, classics, and muscles cars. And in the face of this threat officials say they have full confidence in the Ocean City Police Department to keep things under control if the H2Oi goers do come back.

“The police are out in full force and they are prepared. We work very closely with the Ocean City Police Department and the town of Ocean City. We were well prepared for the event the police are out in full force and we’ve always held safety as our number one priority at our event, “said Event Promoter, Meredith Herbert.

And if all goes smoothly, despite some of the flooding ocean city has also been seeing, all events for Summer Crusin’ should be going on as planned. They’ve got a weekend full of jam packed activities including of course more car show, some auctions, and you can even meet the actress from the popular show ‘Iron Resurrection’ Amanda Martin as well.

“Ocean City is just a great place for a car show. You have the beautiful beach on one side and the classic boardwalk on the other side. Our participants love to cruise in the morning, show their cars at the inlet, show them at the convention center and then they cruise them to our different satellite locations,” said Herbert.

The four day event will be going on until Sunday where they’ll end with an awards ceremony
