Students win essay competition in Dorchester Co.

DORCHESTER CO., Md. – 25 students recently competed in an essay competition for Dorchester’s 350th anniversary this year.

Students answered the question: “If you had a time machine and could travel anywhere in Dorchester County history – where would you go and why?”.

Because these students are so bright and wrote amazing essays, their work will be stored in a 50 year time capsule for the county. The capsule is scheduled to be opened in the year 2069.
