Seaford man arrested on 7th DUI charge

HARRINGTON, Del. – Harrington Police arrested a Seaford man on Thursday on DUI and other related charges.

Just after 9:30 a.m., an officer on patrol stopped a vehicle for a registration violation on South DuPont Highway. The officer then contacted the driver, 51-year-old Bradley O’Neal, and smelled an odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle.

Following field sobriety tests, O’Neal was taken into custody, and it was learned that he had a suspended driver’s license and six previous DUI convictions, dating back to 1986. He was subsequently charged with 7th offense DUI, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and several other traffic violations.

O’Neal is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $20,405 cash bond.
