Roads flooded, closed in Downtown Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – Flooding caused some major headaches for drivers in Downtown Salisbury on Saturday.

Salisbury Police tell 47 ABC that Fitzwater Street and a part of Lake Street were temporarily closed because of the flooding.

Fitzwater Street saw the worst of the flooding, with the water several inches deep in some areas.

Still, some cars navigated through the high water on Fitzwater, while some turned around and took other routes.

Other roads downtown were also flooded, making drivers take detours around the dangerous spots.
