Police arrest Greenwood man on third DUI

HARRINGTON, Del. – Harrington Police arrested a Greenwood man early Friday morning on his third DUI.

We’re told that around 4 a.m., an officer was in the area of 2300 Prospect Church Road when they saw a vehicle parked on the side of the road. It was noted that the vehicle was running with someone sitting in the driver’s seat.

On contact with the driver, identified as 33-year-old Bryan Joyner, an odor of alcohol was detected coming from within the vehicle and standard field sobriety tests were administered as a result.

Joyner was subsequently taken into custody, and a computer check revealed that he had two previous DUIs, in 2011 and 2017. He was charged with third offense DUI and released on his own recognizance.
