Police: 20-year-old shot in foot, investigation underway

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating after a 20-year-old man was allegedly shot in the foot early Sunday morning.

According to police, the incident happened at around 12:15 a.m., in the unit block of S. New Street. At that time, officers heard multiple gunshots and were able to locate a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his foot.

The victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. The victim and potential witnesses that were in the area have been uncooperative with police.
