NJ man arrested in Milford following traffic stop

MILFORD, Del. – Milford Police arrested a New Jersey man late last week after a traffic stop resulted in the recovery of drugs.

At around 9:40 p.m. on September 26th, an officer observed a moving violation and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle on Coastal Highway in Milford. During the course of the traffic stop, 236 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located and seized, and the driver, 21-year-old Tyler Maxwell of Glassboro, NJ was taken into custody.

Maxwell was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, speeding, and failure to have license in possession. He was later released on his own recognizance.
