Milford man arrested on burglary charges

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Rehoboth Beach Police arrested a Milford man last weekend on burglary and other charges after he broke into a vehicle and damaged the interior.

Just after 7 a.m. on October 20th, police were called to the area of Baltimore Avenue at the intersection of First Street, where the victim alleged that someone was inside their vehicle. Investigation revealed that 44-year-old Robert Cannon of Milford had been in the vehicle and damaged the interior of the vehicle.

When Cannon was placed under arrest, he was found in possession of prescription medications that were not his, as well as other drug related paraphernalia.

Cannon was charged with third degree burglary, two counts of possessing a controlled substance, criminal mischief under $1,500, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $2,150 cash bond.
