Laurel holds strong, hangs on to down St. Elizabeth
LAUREL, De- The Laurel Bulldogs football team won their second game in a row, defeating St. Elizabeth 7-6 on Friday night.
Quadyr Whitney registered the only score of the game for the Bulldogs, when he took a swing pass from freshman QB Kaden Shockley 12-yards into the end zone. The 7-0 lead for Laurel would hold all the way until the fourth quarter.
Thomas Mosley Jr. would get the Vikings on the board in the 4th
, strolling 58-yards for a touchdown, however St. E’s 2-point conversion was thwarted by the Bulldogs. The 7-6 final would stand.
Laurel (2-3) will host Indian River next Friday to celebrate homecoming.
