First State Community Action Agency recognizes participants through new holiday

DELAWARE – The First State Community Action Agency recently celebrated a new holiday for the last week of September.

September 22nd through 28th was named National Employ Older Workers Week for the Senior Community Service Employment Program.

First State recognized participants in the program who acquired gainful employment in the workforce. Participants were celebrated at a luncheon, where they shared work experience, testimonies, and gratitude to program and all it has done to shape them into excellent workers in various capacities.
