Fire officials say house fire in Salisbury was intentionally set

SALISBURY, Md. – Maryland Fire Officials say a house fire that broke out early Monday morning in Salisbury was intentionally set.

The blaze was reported shortly before 4 a.m., at a house at 706 East Road. We’re told it took 12 firefighters approximately 15 minutes to control.

Investigation revealed that the fire began in a utility room and was intentionally started. Damage has been estimated at $10,000.
