Felton man arrested in connection to shooting incident
MILFORD, Del. – Milford Police arrested a Felton man in connection to a shooting incident that happened late last week.
Police say the incident happened at around 8 p.m. Friday, in the 1000 block of South Walnut Street. It was reported that 30-year-old Linwood Owens allegedly fired a shot towards a Chevrolet Traverse, hitting a rear fender.
None of the vehicle’s occupants were injured in the incident.
A warrant was subsequently obtained for Owens’ arrest. Police located him and took him into custody on Sunday, charging him with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of reckless endanger first degree, possession of a deadly weapon by person prohibited, and criminal mischief over $1000.
Owens is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $34,000 cash bail.
