Dover Police investigating robbery in apartment complex parking lot

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating after a 20-year-old was reportedly robbed in the parking lot of a local apartment complex late Monday night.

According to police, the incident happened at around 11:50 p.m., in the parking lot of the Fairway Lakes Apartments. After the victim parked his car, he was approached by two unknown suspects with handguns, demanding property. The suspects then reportedly hit the victim on the head with a gun, forcefully pulled him out of his vehicle, and rummaged through the car. They then stole the victim’s cell phone and keys and told him to run in the opposite direction.

The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical treatment.

The suspects were both described as males, but no further details were given.
