Dover Police investigating gas station robbery

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are searching for two suspects who allegedly robbed the Valero gas station on Forrest Avenue Tuesday night.

According to police, the incident happened at around 9:45 p.m. Two suspects walked into the store and displayed a black handgun, demanding money and tobacco products. The victim complied before fleeing on foot toward the Wawa on Route 8 for help, while the suspects fled the area with an unknown amount of cash and merchandise.

The suspects were described as two males, wearing dark clothing and face masks.
