Dover Police investigating attempted robbery at gas station

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating another attempted armed robbery of the Valero gas station on N. DuPont Highway.

According to police, just before 8 p.m., a male suspect walked into the business and stated that he had a gun, demanding money from the register. When the clerk refused, the suspect fled on food toward Chatham Cover.

This is the second attempted robbery at this gas station in five days. The first incident happened on October 15th, and police are investigating the possibility of the two incidents being linked.

The suspect was described as a male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, white pants, and a black hat.
