Dixon wins Delmarva Idol!

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Your 2019 Delmarva Idol winner is Alonzo Dixon.  Dixon was one of 18 contestants to take the stage at UMES to sing his heart out in hopes of winning. The silver ticket solidifies an all-expense paid trip for two to audition in front of an American Idol Casting director. One by one, the contestants made their way up on stage to sing their heart out, acapella style.

We caught up with Dixon who tells us his biggest motivation is his mom.  He says “she brought me into it [music], she passed away my junior year in high school and it’s honestly been that push, that motivation to keep on going.”
