Delmar blanks Padua, completes undefeated regular season

FREDERICA, De- The Delmar field hockey team moved to 15-0 on the year, defeating Padua 9-0 on Thursday afternoon at Delaware Turf Complex in Frederica.

Delmar freshman Josie Hollamon scored all three of her goals in the first half, with all three assisted by junior Morgan Bradford. Morgan also finished the first half with a goal for the Wildcats, who led 5-0 headed into the half.

In the second half, freshman Maci Bradford registered a goal and an assist as the Wildcats sent in 30 shots on 25 corners.

Delmar moves to the Henlopen Field Hockey championship next week, where they will take on Cape. The Wildcats will receive the #1 seed in the coming DIAA Division II state tournament, and should open up postseason play on November 9th.
