Crash victims identified: Two 20-year-old brothers, driver

BRIDGEVILLE, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating an early morning car crash that killed three 20-year-old men, Sunday.

According to police, the accident happened at 1:03 a.m. near the intersection of Wesley Church Road and Cannon Road. Investigators say the 23-year-old driver, Austin Moore, was speeding and lost control of his car. The car went across the northbound lane where it hit and severed a utility pole.

Moore was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the other two men in the car were brothers and were also pronounced dead at the scene. The front seat passenger is identified as 26-year-old Matthew Tull and the backseat passenger is identified as 23-year-old Jacob Tull. Jacob Tull was ejected from the back seat of the car during the crash. Investigators say none of the men were wearing seat belts.

Utility crews were still on the scene around 8 a.m. Sunday to fix the severed pole.

The crash is under investigation by the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit.
