Community Inspired Actions Non-profit corporation wants you to come out and support those impacted by cancer

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. — This morning 47 ABC’s Erica Murphy was joined by Ketanya Moore, from the C.I.A (Community Inspired Actions) Non-profit corporation.

She was here to talk about the upcoming 4th Annual Fight For One Fight For All Cancer Event, taking place this Saturday, October 19th, at the Fairfield Inn in Rehoboth Beach at 19113 Coastal Highway.

Ketanya Moore, who’s the executive director of C.I.A., says the event is not just representing those with and affected by breast cancer, but it is for all cancers.

The event will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. She says with the event, she wants to be able to bring awareness of the disease to local communities as well as try to find a way to lower probability of getting the disease.

Kentanya says there will be a fashion show with just breast cancer survivors and cancer patients. There will also be vendors at the event for the first hour.

She says the event will be centered around cancer victims, survivors and family members or someone just seeking experience.

The program will discuss and inform many things in all aspects of cancer, from cooking measures to the hurdles of being an active member in a victims’ journey.

Tickets for the event are $25 and you will be able to purchase them online or at the door during the day of the event.

For more information about the event, registration, tickets , and pricing you can visit Ketanya’s email at KMoore@cia-de.org or you can contact her by phone at 302-448-5702.
