Coastal flooding expected to hit Delaware before the weekend

DELAWARE – Coastal flooding is expected to hit parts of Delaware before the weekend.

The National Weather Service says that for those who live by the water, particularly by the coastline or the lower Delaware Bay, they should prepare for moderate coastal flooding on Friday.

They also say wind gusts could reach up to 40 miles per hour at times through Friday night.

For those who live in this area, the National Weather Service advises them to protect themselves as well as their personal belongings from rising water.
