Believe Boo Ball for Kids supports critically ill children

SALISBURY, Md. –  On Sunday, kids put on their favorite costumes to chat with heroes and villains and it was all for a good cause.

The event called Believe Boo Ball for Kids took place at the Salisbury Elks Lodge.

Kids got the chance to meet Spiderman, Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, among others. They also got to enjoy some dancing and of course lots of sweets.

All proceeds collected at the event will go towards the Believe In Tomorrow Children’s House By The Sea in Ocean City.

The organization provides vacation housing to critically ill children and their families.

Organizers say these sort of events help Believe In Tomorrow grow.

“Every program that we offer these families is all through donations and generous people in our community,” said the Director of New Business Development at Believe In Tomorrow, EJ Foxx.

“It’s a beautiful thing,” said Foxx.

According to Foxx, the non-profit is also looking for volunteers to help keep their unique programs alive.
