Salisbury airport receives $1.1 million federal grant

SALISBURY, Md. – On Wednesday, Maryland Representative Andy Harris announced the award of a federal grant to the Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional Airport.

This $1.1 million grant was awarded by the U.S. Department of Transportation. The plan for the grant is to fund rehabilitation of the apron, taxiway, and lighting.

The Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional Airport supports over 1600 local jobs.
