Police investigating afternoon street robbery

MILLSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a street robbery in Millsboro Saturday afternoon.

A 63-year old woman was walking through the parking lot of Royal Farms on John J. Williams Highway when a male subject approached her demanding she hand over her backpack.

The man threatened her, implying he was armed. He then grabbed the back-pack and fled on foot.

The suspect was described as a black male, 30-40 years old, and 5 feet 6 inches tall.
